Staying around Lain, another show worth mentioning is NieA Under 7, made mostly by the same staff, adapted from manga by Yoshitoshi Abe, Lain's character designer. A slapstick comedy at first sight, a very clever story about adulthood at its core.

I also did some experiments with lights. All illustrations were done in Photoshop using the pen tool alone. I couldn't afford a tablet at the time. My laptop was pretty old and slow with 2GB RAM.
