I hope this will help you understand why the KOF community is really excited about this team. Their original reveal on the plot and the fight againt them is legenday, their gameplay is unique and interesting, and they come with a "new", and very iconic, outfit from KOF98 ending.

Surprisingly this new team reveals its "true face" at the end of the KOF97 story, revealing themselves as 3 of the 4 Orochi Heavenly Kings, and reveal their true power/gameplay:

Yashiro: Power of earth (grappler)
Shermie: Power of thunder (zonner)
Chris: Power of fire (shoto)

Upon their debut in KOF '97, the abilities of Yashiro, Shermie, and Chris in their true form were meant to mirror those of KOF's original Hero Team—Yashiro for Daimon, Shermie for Benimaru, and Chris for Kyo.

Their team insignia is the CYS band logo inside the ring that was on Orochi's chest in 1997, which symbolises the Orochi Hakkeshu in the form of the eight necks of Yamata no Orochi.

The KOF XV Ura Orochi Team uniform is based on Goenitz, the Orochi Hakkeshu leader who died in KOF '96. Before now, Yashiro, Shermie, and Chris wore it during KOF '98's credits. Even Chris's feather accessory has been reproduced.

KOF Input Stickers I've made. You have your typical characters.. and then there's Angel

These will be available this weekend with my other stickies & posters. I'm not the fastest artist so it's been hard trying to draw everyone's requests but I'm chugging slowly

New players to KOFXV and non KOF players i’m begging you to do an ounce of research. just takes 2 minutes on a smart phone or device to look up the orochi characters instead of just immediately assuming.
