Updated back cover for volume six of Faux Facts. I really didn't do much other than using some gradients to warm up the colors and removed the excess shading of the original one mainly on the faces.

My flip flopping between experimenting with two different rendering methods is hard, but I persist.

I think I prefer more painterly rendering but I have major weaknesses with using different layer modes to achieve gradients and stuff so this is valuable practice.

Late but color under the lineart, use brown line art, use gradient tool for cell shading hair, try messing with water color as a shade, when light hits make clipping layer for lineart and make the areas where light hits lighter.

Genuinely forgot I drew this and only posted it on obscure social media sites. Would have been completely done in MS paint if I didn't feel like doing a gradient in the sky and do the shadows marginally faster than in paint itself.
