It kind of hit me that I didn't do a ton of stuff in terms of art this year. And, honestly, that's okay with me. I'll definitely try hosting raffles, spew more CV art, and do more life and photo studies for next year though.

Forgo to post this on the birdsite but thank you for all for a rather interesting year, probably the biggest year for me personally, and interms of art I hadn’t thought I had made much progress through the year,but this is false. In 2022 I hope to hav more confidence in my skill.

My illustrations were few this year but I am ok with that since I created only when and what I wanted. I learned that my happiness while creating means more than my output and how wonderful it can feel to create on my terms so here are my favs from 2021.

2021 was a busy year for me and i stepped up a lot in terms of quality so next year i hope i can be more efficient and can find more motivation and time to draw

The biggest personal surprise of 2021 was finding myself drawing again, after sort of giving up on it almost a decade ago. Getting an iPad was the biggest push, but friends gave some valuable tips that went miles in terms of letting me do stuff I wouldn’t think I could do before

This year had a lot of peaks and valleys in my life, but in terms of art I felt like I started surprising myself in more than a few ways. I’m really hoping to keep pushing myself for next year and the foreseeable future after that.

Posting this a few hours away from the new year: While my breadth of work in 2021 heavily leaned towards comic pages, I actually did quite a number of illustrations as well....yay! Here's to a better 2022, in terms of hope, happiness, comfort and self-improvement.
