Art things today: I played with gradients on chameleon number 2 in Inkscape, & played with different tools to try to create a watercolour-like effect on some of the edges. Still a long way to go but some bits worked well.

I've been working on this and to be honest, I prefer the long hair. The sweater and eyepatch stay, as does the general shape, but the long hair is just so much more fun to draw!!!

Continuing the story of the mermaid's escape, the prompt was "Drain" so I drew her diving out of a sewer draining into the ocean (honestly I don't think that classic "pipe poking out off a cliff side" actually exists anywhere but it makes for a cool image).
