Day 1658: Rune! Decided to take a step back a bit an just experiment a little more with overlays. I'm slowly finding a pattern I like with these, frustrations aside. I know I just gotta keep chipping away at it and it'll eventually come together and I'll make good results soon.

This is my step to paint shading by overlay layer (Multiply, Overlay, Add grow mode on CSP) because I must control color tone on this artwork too
Usually, I paint shading and highlight separate layer not paint on one layer because I'm lazy to toning color
