When Rosie was a child, was she a caterpillar? Well yes - but rather than go through a pupa stage, she slowly transitioned and grew in her moth features as a teen.
Her dress in the last one is based off of the rosy maple moth cocoon, though 😉

I grow somewhat dissatisfied with most of my work, but this one I ended up just giving up on before it was done. The sketch was dynamic and it just lost so much of that when transitioning to lineart. I also tried something new for shading and it didn't work out 😐🤷‍♀️
