abstract painting flowers Anemones by the Lake by Silvia Vassileva art for living room Hand painted High quality https://t.co/lKCIdnQYlr
Anemone, stuck in the discard pile.
(Wanted to draw something more technical, and concept art for a starting location.)
Christopher Wood (1901-30) Anemones in a Cornish Window (1930), Anemones in a Window, Broadchalke (1928) & Anemones in a Yellow Jug (c1930s). A tragically short-lived English artist, he captured the essence of the wind flower.
Odilon Redon (1840-1916) Bouquet of Anemones (nd), Still Life with Anemones (nd) & Anemone in the Mask (nd). Redon was a Symbolist painter, the very definition of decadence to the conservative critics. This is hinted at in his mask.
Emil Nolde (1867-1956) Anemones in a Blue Vase (c1935) & Amaryllis & Anemones (c1930) & Two Anemone Flowers (nd). That Nolde was a great Expressionist is clear - however it’s hard to enjoy his work when you know he was a card carrying Nazi member.
Raoul Dufy (1877-1953) Anemones (1937), Anemones (1953) & Anemones (1949). Dufy had a sketchy relaxed style of painting & this is readily apparent in his studies of the flower. They are the essence of 1950s French style.
I drew @zelk_vore 's character! I think her name is Anemoi.
She looks very cool, and her body can change to allow her to devour prey in many different ways! I really like her.😊
She was fun to draw, too!
Next up is Erina Nakiri voiced by Hisako Kanemoto!
She can distinguish any ingredients in a dish from just a bite so people call her ability the “God Toungue” with respect.
She probably won’t admit it but she has grown so much more than that since she met Soma!

Been a while since I’ve drawn anything Vanessa related.

By artist Santiago Caruso, one of the best Azathoth illustrations I've seen. The hairlike frills near the top resemble some aquatic life, perhaps a sea anemone or underwater vegetation. The overall impression is ghostly and deeply alien, in a way different than most depictions.
here's a long overdue commission for @McGwiggles of his anemone lady
