Our son was only in NICU for a couple of weeks as he'd had to be born 6 weeks early so I could start chemo.

This was after he'd survived my mastectomy when I was c 26 weeks pregnant.

He's now nearly 16 & both of us have hair 🤣

My daughter was born 6 weeks premature and spent 3 weeks in the nicu. Everyday my wife and I went to see her, we called her our little Warrior. I'm beyond amazed at

I still vividly remember those first few moments of fatherhood. My preemie daughter was barely the length of my forearm. In the middle of the night in the NICU I felt helpless. The only thing I could think to do was read her stacks of picture books while she was in her isolette.
