2月8日は郵便マークの日！「〒」これです！元祖は「丁」の字で、他の国々で「料金不足」を表すマーク「Ｔ」の字に似ているということで、現在の「〒」になったとか。「〒」マーク、イイよね！以上、1887年のお話でした。そうそう、東京に電燈がついた年だ、あの頃は私も…はっ、前世の記憶が？！

1887年、逓信省（ていしんしょう）が郵便マークに「〒」を採用しました！

当時は漢字の「丁」が使われていましたが、
アルファベットの「T」に似て紛らわしいため、
逓信省のテをイメージした「〒」になったんだとか🐥🤔

昔、郵便物などを取り扱っていた"テイシン省"の頭文字の"テ"からマークが作られたんだって！
ちなみにこのマークは日本独自のものだから海外じゃ通じないぞ！
