How fabulous is this voluminous golden skirt? Clearly artist Jean-Gabriel Domergue loved it, too. He used it time and time again in his works from the late 1910s through the 1920s. These are just a handful of examples where it pops up! See more: https://t.co/09HHDIPliE

Stanley Spencer's portrait is of his brother-in-law and war artist Richard Carline. Stan became a great artistic influence on Richard's work and many of the figures and the tonality in his paintings are close in style to Stanley's works of the 1910s and 1920s.

The woman in the bottom corner of Doyle's lecture is inspired by a (possibly dirty?) sketch by one of my great-relatives (either Agnes or Ruth Collver according to the inscription) in their Canadian history schoolbook from the 1920s. I guess doodling in class runs in the family.

Centrick Allaby is a demon I created at the very beginning of the year. How fitting, huh? He enjoys messing with people and his favorite time is to be in the 1920s. He loves to cause havoc and do anything for chaos.
