The “OG Maria” colors are based on a now retconned OC whose entire purpose was to be “gender bent Mario”

Rei and Kasumi are Airashi’s best friends, and “Dark Copycat” is a reference to Dario; Airashi’s hair and eye color for that one are the same as her dark counterpart, Kagura.
