I'm not sure if this is what you mean but, my character Ankhel is a not so very subtle reference to Ancalagon the Black from Tolkien's Silmarillion, which I have never read, in combination with transforming dragon people from Fire Emblem like Dheginsea.

“Before the rising of the sun Eärendil slew Ancalagon the Black, the mightiest of the dragon-host, and cast him from the sky; and he fell upon the towers of Thangorodrim, and they were broken in his ruin.” — The Silmarillion

Eärendil came in the sky and overthrew Ancalagon the Black Dragon, and in his fall Thangorodrim was broken.

Fun fact my favorite character in the entire Legendarium is Ancalagon the Black, who gets mentioned all of Twice across the Silm and LotR.

Some past knotwork banners and heraldry commissions I've done for FR... I should do more knotwork adoptables, they were the most fun to do. :)
