Amazing conclusion to year 1. Wrapping up Horikoto characters at the start and having her begin again. Kei and Ayanokouji dynamic setting up everything that year 1 will bring. Absolutely phenomenal series.

Finished Volume 4 and these volumes keep on getting better

The highlight of this volumes has to be Kei’s story and Ayanokouji confronting her. Loved all of the inner darkness parallels and the constant parasite references they really made that scene even better and richer

Now I see why everyone is hyped for S2! The story was very interesting from start, and the way they do the class ranking system intrigues me! Loved all of the cast, plus I want to know more about Ayanokouji’s past! Now I’m on the S2 hype train!

Ayanokouji is crazy. I love how great Kinugasa wrote his character, especially his ambiguosly questionable moral compass. We get to see more about Karuizawa and I kinda like her character now, while Ryuuen and Ichinose being badass in this volume.
Score: 9/10

Finished vol 3 two days ago. This volume is certainly better than the first two. Ayanokouji keeps getting interesting as a protagonist. Not my fav yet, but he had a potential to reach my t10. As for the plot, I look forward to see how the story will turns after this volume. 8/10.

After revealing her inner past to Ayanokouji back in Volume 9, she was able to pick herself back up.

Ichinose is naturally friendly to everyone, but her reaction to seeing Ayanokouji placing chocolate in her mailbox is a telling sign.
