And I thought if I make him so, he’ll be similar to his father Sweyn, and his “heavenly father”(Jesus)…

Finished Vinland Saga season 1. I'm so glad this was so good, so good it pulled me out of anime burnout easily. Loved the plot and major characters. Askeladd was probably the highlight but I also really liked Canute and am very interested to see how Thorfinn develops from here
