@MechaDefensePR watched a lot of gundam animu, I guess yeah. Only that two scenes in 0079. And probably pictured in ms era 0099
I added the banner coz it's just too empty behind the speaker rip
sometimes I kinda wonder why character designs these days tends to be restrained (even on over-the-top large weapons/hats wearing character ones, or even a reboot of old era media)
I thought with less limitation on graphics, character design would be more "wilder"
@donnaxsaturno No concebían que solo gustase de Rainah aunque desde el minuto 1 indicaba que era ella quien le gustaba jwksks I mean...
biggest kamo L in designs / super missed opportunity is to give the yaksha/ogre archetypes in karuma project a edo-era criminal tattoo :((((((
it fits their status as a "criminal demons who works under king yama"
old kaneko are mixing kitazume's* and kawajiri's artwork. SH era he starts to lean towards kawajiri more
in his new ps2 era, he seems to mix more of kogawa? Idk, it's just speculation but it does look kinda similar, but then again kitazume also came from kogawa's school
if you like kaneko's artwork and wonder why his art looks so porcelain doll-ish compared to modern standards.
I think it's just a conclusion of evolving from hiroyuki kitazume's art style (with touches of tomonori kogawa) in his ps1-ps2 era https://t.co/oJ1gI61xnd
speaking of "remaking" designs, I regret not doing more research for jewelry designs on tennyo, so I just slapped random looking accessories.....
idk what era of jewelry are suited to put on her , and then you have to simplify said designs so you can redraw her over and over
Me dió por leer otra vez The Lost canvas y alamadre, no recordaba que estos paneles eran parte del manga yo pensaba que era un fanart XD
El estilo de Shiori si que ha evolucionado un montón jsjsjsj
@JabroniCalzones if I remember correctly, that "medusa" was just a recolor of kaneko's unused demon design from 1/2/if era. Forgot which one tho. It never made it to the final game (Like this one sketch of melusine)
I wonder if there's a comprehensive image guide to terms of JP traditional clothing for each gender/occupation/class/era coz it'll helps a lot lot lot on my character designs :((((
Also I think they could do more with wa lolita fashion beyond just "poofy skirt and long sleeves"
love this era of 90s?-2000s? art style in rpgs where they draw stump legs, large hands but face rendered with 3d looks instead of flat
(was thinking of KH but I think there's even more in the early 2000s/late 90s)
@PapperFace19 HAJSKDKDKD Desde ese ángulo parece pero era más así
