btw the desaturated/lighter-grayish colors are based off on how roguefort's colors look to me because when i color dropped, their skin was more orangey than i expected ( like that's definitely tan-light brown how is that ORANGE??? IM SO SHOCKED )

Something that always seemed odd to me

The official art of the koopa bros from the og paper mario shows the bros posing, but to me the black ninjakoopa always looked blue to me, as opposed to the in-game more grayish black color

Deep Dragons, which design do you prefer? The first image is the 3.5e art the second is from Fizban's Treasury of Dragons. Also the Fizban's version is described as having grayish black salamander like skin, which is delightfully gross and I think fitting for an Underdark dragon.
