This is @KathCallaghan2 's character Firewall! I went a little fun with the greebly lines on this one. #transformers #andrewdrawsocs
I'm nowhere close to finishing so have a WIP I suppose!
Making my own Alien-style vessel from scratch~ a powerful towing vehicle used for recovery and salvage operations throughout colonial space. Main shape is done, now just adding greebles & final touches

Been quite busy with the metaverse concept art job, having lots of fun with it 🤓
Brushing up on all things scifi & hard surface atm. Greebles, panelling and the like.
Here's a little warm down blender sketch, refamiliarizing myself with boxcutter & hardops in blender:
In love with ABRISS' greebly brutalist A E S T H E T I C.

Fearing the inevitable greeble backlash that’s gonna lead to smooth shiny. Everything gonna start looking like this

🧘WIP: Art is often grueling but paradoxically meditative for me.
✍️Greebling: Adding visual complexity to create interest. The detail lines on the structure in the center of the frame took about 4-5 hours, and I estimate I’m only 25% done.

Three levels cut from 2001's No Hope For Life E1 plus three PD originals. Among the greebled hallway segments you get a few gems in the rough like E3M8's column-block bridge or E3M9's spooky techbase trip.
Yes, I know I use this picture (now actually attached!) of Nanny Ogg and Greebo living their best lives (by the fabulous @PaulKidby) most years, but it’s just so damn joyful. Happy Hogswatch all!
