Zhongli - Heart of Bedrock

I wanted to show Zhongli's solitude and power, his wisdom and sadness. He only has his fighting skills and his memories that link him to his painful past, in the darkness where a weak light guides him.

I wanted to translate the "heart of bedrock", cold and distant. Although it appears emotionless, we have difficulty understanding what he feels. He contains powerful feeligs that he tries to hide.

My entry for the event. The stone table on top of Mt. Aocang inspired me. Although he may seem stoic he hides his melancholy well. He has lost many and I think he reminisces in places such as this. This took 8 hours and 31 minutes total to complete.

This is inspired by that line in Zhongli's mission. Under the tree in Nantianmen, Zhongli brought 9 (久) glaze lily praying for eternal happiness for his bestfriend and companion, Azhdaha.

It is a representation of Rex Lapis as an "angel" who showed the light to Azhdaha. The pillars and the geo symbol are a reminder of the contract they have.
