@aoii91 Colorful, bold, angular & expressive I'd think! I love the work of Hiroyuki Imaishi & Yoh Yoshinari, the shading & coloring of modern western cartoons, & strong character-informed poses!
-Not releated to MP art-
I cannot recomend this video enough, is pure glory.
I really love how Aoki makes poses, their are always long lines for the body (with a great use of the shoulder pads).
Similar to someone like Hiroyuki Imaishi, sometimes he just jump from pose to pose. https://t.co/mTDi4T0VU9
Things are about to get hilariously crazy as Invader Zim and Panty & Stocking come together in this wonderful crossover.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann by Hiroyuki Imaishi
LIKE #5: Spencer Wan. Look, there's a very high chance you've seen his work recently between "Castlevania" and a certain Grom sequence from "The Owl House", and it's legit INSPIRING. His understanding of what makes an action scene hit hard goes in tandem with Imaishi for me~ ✨
LIKE #2: Hiroyuki Imaishi. Look, I'd be TOTALLY remiss if I didn't actually bring up Imaishi. What started as me watching "Gurren Lagann" back in the day turned into me appreciating his techniques throughout every TV show or film he does: perspective, design, so forth. ✨
So first up is Hiroyuki Imaishi I love how dynamic and expressive his characters and action scenes look and how well they translate to animation
Okay let’s get the obvious out the way, Hiroyuki Imaishi
Dont think I need to say much else. GL started the journey but this man is my biggest inspirstion and I have yet to get on his level
I wanna be as good as him man, just need to work more on posing and composition again
The reaction to The Twins from Star Wars Visions still amuses me, with how a good portion of the fanbase basically rejected it because of how "anime" it is, as if they weren't ready for it
but hey, it's Trigger and directed by Imaishi himself so, you get what you get
Ryuko! 纏流子¡
I love how it conveniently ended up more Imaishi 今石 than I was expecting. The PSG style working pretty well with Ryuko. Wasn't intentional though. 🤧
Also toward the midpoint is this really nice brief action scene with lots of snappy movement
Initially believed to be among the cuts Hiroyuki Imaishi did but probably his revisions on another animator's layout (or vice versa?) instead
Primera serie: #KilllaKill
fue su primer proyecto de anime en televisión original de la empresa, emitida en 2013.
Dirigido por Hiroyuki Imaishi y escrita por Kazuki Nakashima.
