@_midnighthatter The previous show Yoshiyuki Tomino directed, Heavy Metal L-Gaim, also took great care to show life in Low-G.
But it's astounding how good they nailed it in Zeta, ZZ, and CCA.
@PainfulBuggery the handrails still super cool to me. You see them a few times in the original gundam series and in L-Gaim. Actually L-Gaim does a lot of the same precautions as Zeta, but going a bit further with stuff like exercise and sleeping.

tana-taka can also draw such illustrations!☺️
L-Gaim MK2's Omega animation in SRW Cross Omega is a reference to the final Buster Launcher scene in episode 54 of L-Gaim (last episode).

Forget Gothicmade, this is the real fruit of 35 years of Nagano redesigns since the days of L-Gaim.
Another Crossover with ZZ Gundam, Layzner, & L-Gaim.

This early illustration of Full Flat from L-Gaim back in '84 is pretty indicative of how Nagano was trained to draw back in his college days studying fashion design. His style has changed considerably since, but his fashion sensibilities remain intact to this day.
The GTM Mk-III "Dharmas" (Bang Doll) made its manga debut last month, and one of the features of the design is its Prowler Fighter transformation. Nagano has stated in older interviews that the MH Bang Doll was based on the L-Gaim Mk-II. This GTM version is an extension of that.
(Though technically Nagano's idea for this started with L-Gaim, but was never spoken of or made clear in the show itself because Tomino was against it)
