@RadicalHighway_ question! I know that when you erase from your shadow layer it becomes your lighting, but how do you get it to apply to your other colors? do you just use a multiply layer and lower the opacity?

im a 2d artist that enjoys dramatic lighting and shadows. I like a (semi one sided) balance of cinematic and sexy.

I'm really happy with how the fabric turned out. I think this is some of my smoothest lighting work to date.

I was trying to learn lighting techniques but I found a video that kinda skips the base coloring so now I’m just coloring my “base color” over everything 🙂‍↔️ sigh
