In Legends: Aeceus, Magnemite and Magneton can only be found within rifts, while Magnezone freely flies over Coronet. What gives? Well… Magnezone is seen as a UFO, so maybe it just arrived first, drawn to the magnetism? Then Magnemite became more common as the region urbanizes.

This one is obvious, but they kept going back to the concept of Multiple Heads in Gen 1. Magneton and Dugtrio are both the same "what if three of the first form... but together!" idea, too.

In Ruby and Sapphire, Brawly is the only Gym Leader to not have any fully evolved Pokemon on his team.

This is no longer the case in their remakes, due to some Pokemon gaining evolutions after Generation 4, Such as Nosepass and Magneton.
