Family portraits, sometimes character design for folks, sometimes wall murals or wood panel paintings. A lot of pet portraits because I love them! It varies.

The partially (and hastily) excavated Buddhist site of Fondukistān in the Ghorband valley of Afghanistan has some exceedingly fine 6th/7th century CE murals. It's a pity that the premature passing of the site excavators means that we still don't have a complete excavation report.
