月経前の抑うつやイライラが生じるPMDD。セロトニンが低下しているのはうつ病と同じだが、セロトニン受容体までは変化してない。抗うつ薬であるSSRI、うつ病では飲んでから２週間ほどかかるけど、PMDDでは飲んだ直後から効き始める。
