Their original design was very inspired by the bitsy prototype. First pixelated (quickly scrapped), then Round and baby. Quickly realized the story needed a little bit more of a mature lookin fock and I ended up with the final design!
Looking at unused #StarFox models in the source code. Instead of comments, IF statements are used to make the compiler skip sections entirely when building the ROM. Spent some time pulling these models out and converting them by hand. I recognize several from the early prototype.
When talking about diversity I also very much like sculpting. Here is a project I worked on but didn't execute because it was too expensive. Kettlebell prototype. There are many similar custom ones but not in my country.
