I heard a lot of people say that Dracozolt’s design is bad but honestly?? I love it. It’s ridiculous and absolutely incoherent- but that’s the POINT. the whole “scientist who mixes fossils like puzzle pieces” is the set up of a joke and this design is the hyperbolic punchline.

When Clownley Bear, brother of Bearly-There Bear, was a little cub he fancied wearing a hair scrunchy around his neck.  It looked like a clown's collar and thus, his name.  Clownley is known for his sense of humor, his proficiency at video games and his pie-in-the-face punchline.

The first page shows a bunch of panels with high details and cinematographic angles to give a sense of tension to the scene. But then it kills of this effect with a flat composition, to sell its dumb punchline.
