@R1ch_4rdd Look at this book, Color and Lighting by James Gurney. Also study the construction of the head to understand the planes of the face. The Asare head is a great reference. Finally study from life and photographs to get a better understanding of how all the information is applied

whenever i draw uma art, it's always funny because i'll have a ref open, and have an uma girl's lifeless eyes staring back at me in judgment because the references don't include a specular rendered for their eyes
