While I'm not the biggest fan of it, it's nice to see Shagaru Magala return in #Sunbreak. I'm glad to see that it has some new attacks that'll hopefully further differentiate it from Gore Magala.

@CrabLord9 Besides Chaotic doesn't just have a little bit of white on one arm that very clearly is just meant to be sun shine on its smooth skin, it's mostly Shagaru with a small amount of Gore still in there.
@Vampsidian Chaotic Gore has one gold arm and one Shagaru horn. The Gore in the leak has neither of these.

I think I like this new design a bit better. Simplified the robe while also keeping some aspects, like the red rope and collar pattern. Getting to where I want to be, but I think I'll be going in for another redesign soon.
I used to do some MH art but I've fallen off. Once I get back into the groove again, I promise to do more😶 I really want to tackle my Shagaru gijinka concept again

It's classified as ??? and was MH4's flagship! You track it along in the story then you realize it's the larval form of an elder dragon called Shagaru Magala

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the other "elder dragon that turns into a different adult" monster with Gore Magala into Shagaru Magala but at least with them I don't think much of the concept was lost in transition, they still have many of the same unique features
