So I played this game as a kid but the only game I was introduced to was Spectrobes Origins for the Wii. I really liked the game especially since you fought along side the creatures. Here are a couple of my favorite:

It’s been so long since I played Spectrobes! I absolutely loved the first and second, I wish I got to play the third. The battle system needed some improvements in each of the games, but I loved the fossil mechanics how many creatures you could get. The designs went hard!

Spectrobes was an odd bird of a game. It was like a pseudo catch em all mon game, but you had to dig up fossils and stuff. It was actually weirdly fun as a kid and the monster designs were honestly really great and unique, but with a good memorable style
