Hedgehog:
A traditional Romani cooking method is to encase the hedgehog in clay and roast it, after which breaking off the baked clay would take the spines with it.

@JoschuaKnuppe BOTH Scelidosaurus and Mymoorapelta have faint ridges on lateral osteoderms dorsally, which would be strongly expressed in overlying keratin. Gastonia dorsal osteoderms and spines have strong ridges around their bases that would extend to apex in overlying keratin.
Asparagus is needing way too many spines and the only other way to appease them is for more folk to take the census.
(Also it'll make Lasso happy if you help with this project he is a part of)

@BunnyHairBoi ⚡️: Mhm! No spines, it’s not a part of Halloween cuz everyone is supposed to have fun :D
@BunnyHairBoi ⚡️: Welllll it’s not funny for me or the people who’s spines you stole.. you made them all floppy
@Azul_Yellow Oh, I have an interesting WiP on hand... 😏
And fun fact: Dash's short spines are a choice. If he didn't cut them, they'd grow to look like a shorter version of Sonic's!
@StormiFolf This is Vesper! Their my Halloween Sona!! I need to do more art of them! I always love monster like creatures! The spines that stick out can quiver and the bright purple markings glow! Also raptor clawed toes!
His back spines tore thru the words so he improvised🦔

Someone asked me if you'd be able to see Thistle's spines if her hair was wet, so here's Thistle but i poured a bucket of water on her head.
Are you happy anon?
Got me thinking, if I want to make Valium animation friendly, I'd limit the rock specklings on his arms and get rid of the extra spines on the tail?
Need examples of difficult designs that are doable in animation https://t.co/fqFaQ1Yqlp
Mattel Tarbo. Honestly, really not a fan of the random redneck and jaw. Imo doesn't work well with the grey and the black stripes.
The spines don't work on it either.
Following up on the JWCC Tarbosaurus, here’s a quick redesign to show you don’t even need spines or osteoderms to make an interesting look. What I find to be underrated is the sheer muscular build that’s never accentuated
someone on tumblr asked about whether maren's spines are stiff or flexible--rip to all of the fabric in their house babeyyyy 💖🌟
this was an old sketch i finished up! eve is my baby angel. she normally disguises her wings as long spines in case the eyes frighten mortals (she can fly fine without them). they’re very expressive which is another reason she conceals them
