My latest Picture of the North America Nebula!
This image includes over 5 hours of total exposure time using a Canon EOS Ra camera and a small telescope.
The multi-bandpass filter used was essential to collect this from my light-polluted backyard (https://t.co/3yPpiRCrpA)
Take delight in Carina Nebula’s hidden secrets, as they were revealed by infrared light, using the HAWK-I camera on our Very Large Telescope.

"Clouds of Cygnus" is one of my favorite from the photos I took with a Celestron Edge 11" telescope.

The Pillars of Creation by the Hubble Space Telescope.🚀✨🌌🔭
These are Princess Sadie of the Water Kingdom and her long distance boyfriend, Brian. Brian lives on a moon. He makes her gifts and shoots them through space. She dances for him as he watches through his telescope. They're in love 💖

This spectacular image of the Orion Nebula star-forming region was obtained from multiple exposures using the HAWK-I infrared camera on @ESO ’s Very Large Telescope. This is the deepest view of this region and it reveals more very faint planetary-mass objects than expected.
The sharpest ever view of the Andromeda Galaxy from the Hubble Space Telescope. Located 2.5 million light years away, the Andromeda Galaxy is the nearest major galaxy to the Milky Way and contains an estimated one trillion stars.

A panorama of glowing gas & newborn stars in Gemini, seen by the Hubble telescope. AFGL 5180 lacks a poetic name, but to me this scene has the same majesty as the famous "pillars of creation" image. (With props to @SpaceGeck) https://t.co/XmRY9KVw3D
Fun fact about myself. I love outer space amd my hobbies are to take some photos from my telescope. I hope you like em!
@hyxpk I see someone in the back preparing to go for some stargazing. 🌟⭐🌟
Finally, she'll be seeing her own kind through a telescope.
Rockhopper Island was first discovered in 2005 after the Great Storm.
Towards the end of March, Rockhopper spotted an island to the east through his telescope. He hoped it was his home, as he began sailing straight towards it.
He reached shore a week later on April 5, 2005.
Happy NY, everyone! Here’s a Christmas gift I painted for my brother in law who’s a big Lovecraft fan.
It’s partially inspired by when we watched the comet Neowise with his telescope.

The Vela Pulsar is about 1,000 light years away. Here's a gorgeous pic in optical light of the cosmic neighborhood where Vela is (look for the red box) taken by the AAO's UK Schmidt telescope.
In collaboration with @NiaTero & @_IllumiNatives, we created art to uplift #AuntiePua & her work advocating for Indigenous Hawaiians & protecting the land in Hawai’i. She has been a fierce advocate protesting to #ProtectMaunaKea against Thirty Meter Telescope.

Gorgeous skies over #Flagstaff tonight, with the Milky Way overhead. This is the current view from the all-sky camera at the Lowell Discovery Telescope. The glow at the bottom is light pollution from Phoenix, 150 miles away (ugh).
