Regardless of the general reception, I really appreciate Tomino for not being repetitive when it comes to making a new Gundam series. it's not the first series rehearsal but it's actually an all-new different series.

@BarqaHannibal prompt:Digital art. Cybernetics World Street Pictures. By Yoshiyuki Tomino. --chaos 10 --ar 16:9
"Cybernetics" and "Yoshiyuki Tomino" may be important. If "CYBER" is used, it sounds like Tron (the movie).
Also, you might want to include "--chaos 10"

I feel like you get a different feeling depends on your state of mind. I watched the whole gundam tomino show in the shittiest moment in my life and when I look back at it, I felt ascended in some weird way in terms of nostalgia and it felt tasteful for some reason
1999 part 2: Turn A Gundam
Yoshiyuki Tomino's masterpiece. A Gundam show about *preventing* a war rather than fighting one. Yoko Kanno's most eclectic soundtrack. Syd Mead's alien mecha designs. Capcom's Akira Yasuda's chara designs. Made me cry and smile. TURN A TURN
New blog post! The first post of anime magazine coverage in 1979 is a big one, covering none other than the original Mobile Suit Gundam TV series! Handful of interviews with Tomino and Yas, a 67-part Q&A, and more in here, transcribed and in Japanese.

There is social commentary, a dude hates his family, pure distilled and aged peak Tomino, and I love it
2001 scryed
There is racism and social commentary but 2 dudes hate each other very much and they don't care, they proceed to fuck each other up, I would describe this as the "anti-tomino anime", and I love it
Despite being such a huge fan of Toshiyuki Tomino and Hideaki Anno, there's a shred of happiness and resilience that I express through Part Time Shuffle.

This episode is amazing
Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket (Rewatch)
The first animated spin-off of the Gundam franchise and the first Gundam series not directed by series creator Yoshiyuki Tomino. In celebration of Gundam's 10th anniversary this 6 episode OVA was created.
Other Tomino characters go through a similar thing. Both Seabook and Judau watch people get wasted carelessly at the start of their adventure and then try carefully to only unarm and subdue their enemies when they can
more artfight! against @oceanicshiba ! this is his oc tomino < 3 i had a lot of fun doodling this golden boy (literally) !! he has such an amazing design
Finished Garzey's Wing
The fiction engine was absolutely running during this OVA but the parking break was on. Still, for as much of a messy, rushed experience as it was, this was still a Tomino work and felt like one.
Its alright! Certainly art I could spend time talking about.
Marco: 3000 Leagues in Search of Mother and Victory Gundam have some similarities. I know Tomino was credited as story-boarder and he's mentioned using Heidi and Anne as inspiration for his shows before so i wouldn't be shocked if that was the case here.
