Know what's funny? As a kid the thought never crossed my mind that Transformers Armada was an anime. I just viewed it as a cartoon since it was Transformers, a normally American thing in my mind at the time. But rewatching it as an adult makes it clear how clearly anime it is.
One of my favourite things in Transformers, and comics in general, is a good side-on/profile/horizontal action shot. Bonus points for letterboxing. And you know who's the very best at that?
