@DaveTho55529017 Definitely up there…damn there’s a lot of great iconic ones in the Wein/Claremont/Cockrun/Byrne era though.
These 4 (and about 10 others) come to mind as rivals for most iconic! Great era!

@AllintheManual @thearielbee In the Bronze Age, Len Wein & Doug Moench established them as an on-going couple, during their runs on Batman. Jeph Loeb brought that concept back, in The Long Halloween, and Hush. Paul Dini solidified the love story, in Heart of Hush.
"The Darker" Star Wars 67 (cover dated: Jan 83); Rare instance of thought captions for R2-D2, hinting at what his 'internal voice' might be like. Written by David Michelinie; Art by Ron Frenz and Tom Palmer; Colors by Glynis Wein; Letters by Joe Rosen; edits Louise Jones
Happy Birthday, @paulsmithdraws!!
He’s drawn many comics I’ve loved, but this may still be my favorite. Kudos to the entire creative team.
#XMen #175 - Claremont, Smith, Romita Jr, Wiacek, Wein & Orzechowski
Four from ‘74 this evening to close out the Marvel Team-Up Marvel Masterworks, vol. 2. All books were written by Len Wein, with pencils from Gil Kane in 19 and Sal Buscema in 20-22. Solid superhero fare, quite representative of the time. Lotsa fun! 👍🏼👍🏼

Len Wein is so underrated as a Catwoman writer, he brought her back and reinvented her TWICE + added so much to her history.
He did Bruce and Selina's relationship so well and shows that Selina does not love Bruce just because he's Batman, they adored each other 😭
