So with the Black Canary movie announced, I’m kind of curious about some titles featuring the character. Have never read her before, but I have liked in her adaptions.

I feel that, despite loving the prior adaptions, Appleseed is similar to Berserk in that it has never gotten a proper adaption.

Most seem to forget both Deunan and Briareos are black, with Deunan being half. (1/3)

Never bothered with these probably due to a ton of similar novel adaptions at the time.

After the success of the earlier 'Hunger Games' outings there was a wave of 'teen rebellion/uprising in a dystopian/post apocalyptic scenario' movies. They all sort of melded into one 😂

Like back in the day, the one with the giant mask & fin was THE Batmobile? Or later how the Adam West design crossed into comics & cartoons? Or the Tim Burton design has basically become the go-to default structure design for various modern adaptions in cartoon, comics & films.

You really hate to see it, but even old bad adaptions are being helped now, Toei brought back World Trigger (not WSJ anymore, but it used to be) and the second season is better in every way
