Theology, Allegorical Figure
Philosophy, Allegorical Figure
by Nicolai Abildgaard, 1800
Symbolically (and all these characters are symbols) whether the Kurt/Brian conflict is over Meggan or leadership unifies if we see Meggan as an allegorical sovereignty figure (like Brittania or Columbia). Particularly apt given the Arthurian trappings of the title. https://t.co/NZNMI8bvAe

Snow Maidens or Spring's Awakening by Henrietta Rae.
There is no story associated with this. Rae's work is very allegorical with a tint of magic and fantasy. This is one of my favourite examples of her work! I loved showing it when I worked at @GMRCNitshill

One of the amazing surrealist painters Remedios Varo is a woman who inspires me.
Famous with her mystic and allegorical style, she emigrated to Mexico City during WWII. Hanging out with F. Kahlo, L.Carrington there for the rest of her life. @Crypto__Chicks

Happy to say I have been asked to paint this portrait by @staiylive .
The painting is an allegorical depiction of the characters from his D&D sessions he has online, sitting around the campfire and listening to the rich tales of the Dungeon Master.
Loved this opportunity!

There are numerous examples of physical and behavioral metamorphosis in history, expressed both symbolically and literally. Kafka's skillful use of symbols complements his allegorical approach and effectively conveys a theme of maturation and estrangement.
