Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2021 is going to be a better one. Here are some drawings we did of Granny and Grandad’s allotment.
Bushy park near my home never ceases to provide me with inspiration. This young deer made me come off my bike on the way to the allotment recently.

Have spent several months studying, sketching and painting scenes from a local allotment & the subject matter has become more distilled.Replacing overthinking with subconscious gestural mark making, mindful of the relationship of shapes one to the other.#bristol #allotment

@f8andbethere @donnasdogs1 You must be at the same allotments as @northantswalks I sketched the great view from there a while ago.
It’s Wednesday! Today I thought I’d share something inspired by the very small but very pretty harvest we came back from the allotment with yesterday, sweet peas are such a gorgeous flower and I love the little curly tendrils on them 🌿
I’m off to do some harvesting at the allotment today - these folky animals are harvesting too.
Thank you to those that tuned in for the Mystic Request Zone, our winners Tom and Zach picked a mouse fighting a cat and the Doom Slayer from Doom. I drew Doom Slayer from memory and it turned out to be a middle aged bloke who went to hell with stuff from his allotment

I've been getting back to drawing and painting over lockdown, after a long hiatus. I love allotments - little plots of oddness and magic, so that's what I've been painting.
In Greek and Roman mythology, Moira, Fate has three goddesses who determined human destinies, and in particular the span of a person’s life and his allotment of misery and suffering. They spin the threads of human destiny.
