Actually, an interesting way to have taken it, would be to leave the people as character-based objects, so no code needs to be changed for the fighting and movement. But make all the doorways and archways sprites. You'd need a multiplexor but minimal change to the game-code IMHO.

Happy 170th anniversary ! The Illustrated London News reported on the festivities. The High Street, filled with spectators & bedecked with flowers, sported flags and pine-boughed archways. The next day cheese overflowed from the new larger market into the High Street!

WIP: New Halloween banner. what hellish things should I add to the top. I was thinking either a big ass skull or do some archways. I might add pony skulls into the stone work of the stairs. and the hellish tower in the back ground needs to look more sinister. Any Suggestions?
