The band Taz and Arcjec are seeing are Black Parade-era My Chemical Romance. Also because repitonians don't use water for anything if they can help it, their pools are filled with chlorinated Jell-o. They come in different colors too!
The troll Taz and Arcjec are meeting is Brendan Fraser, who as we know is the most popular and best repitonian actor. They're dressed as Maka and Soul from Soul Eater! Which I dare say is very Tazjec adjacent.

these are the only remnants left of the fabled 2011 VE beta that happened on the now defunct MSPA Forums. it only had eleven pages or so of arcjec doing nothing before being cut off, so its a lot like pre-2016 VE in that regard. we were very proud of these panels at the time!
