5. Picking a Yoshi character is weird because there's like three options. But if you'd ask me, I'd say they oughta add the Stork.
Having Babies fight would be weird, so why not have the Stork fight and use the Babies' abilities in the moveset? It's exaggerated enough to work.

One of my favourite books as a little one was 'The Water-Babies' by Charles Kingsley;

We'd just moved to Africa in the 70s (I was six) and I found it in the flat we were staying in. It absolutely captivated me.

You don't hear about it so much these days.

One third up the mountain~ got to page 40/120 of the minority monsters audio book! Today I hunted for some crunchy sand sfx for the Desert of Sexual Desire and laughed at how many takes it took to nail the 'Quadri-god grandbabies' line. You utter delight 💙
