@letstalkjla If we count crossovers, Batman/TMNT 3 Crisis in a Halfshell. If we count Elseworlds type stories, DCeased. For regular ongoing series...I stopped reading them as a form of protest after HiC, but when I stopped it was probably Detective Comics.
Here is a Double page spread that I drew (in Batman/TMNT III#4), that references the cover of Ninja Turtles #1, and is the only time (that I know of) where there is an "in-story" reason for the red sky: a clashing of universes that harken back to the originals! :)
BATMAN/TMNT III has been nothing but fun. Issue #4 is out this week by @JamesTheFourth and @Freddieart. It has some of the best art from all of the series so far and gives Casey Jones one of his coolest moments ever.

Another Batman/TMNT crossover to check out is Batman/Teemage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures by @matthewkmanning and @JonSommariva where Batman the Animated Series meets the 2012 Ninja Turtles. It's also collected in graphic novel format. You can't go wrong with either series. /2
