In the OG design you can see his disturbingly sallow grey skin. Something is wrong with him. The bare muscular arms also give him the feeling of a commando (not just a skinny skeleton). The rough muscle tape conveys scrappiness. He feels like a crazy loner. Like an evil Punisher.
