I've read 4 vols of the LN and while I wouldn't say this was a notably bad adaptation, it really just highlighted the issues I have with this series; namely how bland the romantic chemistry between the main 2 is and how shit of a character Amane is.
This is Owl. Owl was made to ultimately be Tabithae's replacement. She's a jackal. And you'll see here that she's pretty bland looking. I wanted a fursona that was not stressful to look at, and had good vibes. Owl wasnt stressful, but she was bland.
