I woke up thinking about the terrible timeline where remained a Popeye game. Did Rare make Popeye Provincial in 1994? Is the modern Popeye a grown-up Swee'Pea? Did Banjo and Conker first appear in Pippy the Sailor Boy Racing? Did Bluto win the Smash Ballot?

Prune it.

A lot of Percy’s modern design is inspired by the facial work of Spear from Primal, mixed with a little Brock Samson and then anyone with that stereotypical cartoony top heavy strongman build, like Bluto or Kronk

So... Was Bluto at one point called "Gutter Pete" or is this a completely separate character that I didn't know of till now (seriously, Brutus makes at least some form of sense, but Gutter Pete???).

I got a lot of recognition from my Bounty bros post! I am so honored and excited! This is a chart I made awhile back for the Devil's advocates. They are paired in twos: KD & Gaster, Bluto & Clarabelle, Shadow & Jessica Rabbit, Bimbo & Betty Boop and Cuphead & Mighty. 😈

Doing some iPad drawing experiments. Vintage Brutus (or Bluto) from

Popeye character Brutus made to be a stand in for Bluto due to nameing errors. I redesigned him to be more of the E.C. Sager comic strips with out making him look to different.

I've been so infatuated with this for a couple of days now. I don't know what they're about or why the person making them is making it, but, it's so goddamn hilarious and interesting. Unlike that runt of a man, Popeye.

Popeye is spinach propaganda. Don't let big Spinach force-feed you their lies. Tried spinach once and guess WHAT.

No big arms?

No big arms.

Bluto kicked my ass.

Moral of the story:

Spinch.

29. Bluto convinced me to play Monolith even though I don't like shoot-em-ups. And I was convinced I wouldn't like Windjammers but I ended up falling in love with the playstyle.
