Add a layer with "Color" blend mode on the top of everything and fill that layer with white or black color. This will turn your piece into grayscale.

This changed the way I thought of value perception, in general improving my artwork further.

in "the good old days" I use massive resolution to hide details.

I know the piece will mostly be displayed on computers and phones, but the resolution is actually 8k by 12k. I then collage in higher-res details to match scale.

as a result, you can zoom and zoom and zoom.
