Through art, I am able to creatively express myself & share my ideas with the world. At the same time I hope that my art also has a positive impact on others and inspires them to create their own works.

I struggled in 2022
Mentally. Physically. Financially. Creatively.

It all kept me from completing as much artwork as I would have liked & from openly sharing whatever I *did* create last year.

That said, I’m feeling ambitious abt 2023

Some rough sketches of pieces in the works

In recent events of WBD, as well as the upcoming streaming service, Max. Here’s a meme comic I made showing how much of a loser and how creatively bankrupt Warner Bros. has been since last year.

GM Margaux. I'm sorry to hear you're not doing well creatively. 😒 I know you know this but it has to be said: It'll pass.

I've been umm-ing and ahh-ing about this one for days. And still am. Can't seem to get it right...

I wrote 50 issues of comics in '22 (including unreleased material). Worked on game n TV stuff. 4 overseas conventions. A 1 year old at home and my father passed in the second half of the year.
I'm going to do less work, more life & more creatively interesting stuff this year.

I didn’t make art specifically for New Years, so here are a few pieces I like that were made earlier this year

2022 was a really good year for me creatively, and 2023 is gonna be even better

Lots of room to grow and tons of skills to learn, should be fun 😁

My 2022 art wrapped! Early this year thanks to I dusted my old Wacom tablet and started drawing again after not doing much for the better part of a decade. Then I got myself an iPad and I must say it’s been one of the most creatively enjoyable years of my life!

2022 was a pretty interesting year for me, creatively. A lot of my writing is me taking things I like or notice and throwing them at the wall to see if they stick. The results have been fun with *amazing* artist friends directing and perfecting my notes along the way l

Being creatively charged up this high usually means emotions are also running hot as I dig through all my old music I was attached to in high school and draw sappy lovey shit that makes me both cry and feel good.

and one final shout out, i want to reflect on that pyra series i started in april which kicked off an experimental phase. it had its critics, but for what started as a means of shading practice let me flourish creatively. also fixed the eyes on the last two as a bonus.

When I was a kid I made 100s of comics starring this lizard guy I creatively named “Larry.” I only shared the comics with a handful of people, immediate family mostly. Wild to think now this year I amassed 7k followers that like my drawings. thank you so much for all the support!
