That’s a really good question, Charlie. Yes, Brentor Church is on the St Michael Line, but the new is a different route. It crosses Dartmoor between Brentor Church and our own parish church, the Archangel here in

sighting:

"On a small piece of velvety turf, entirely surrounded by boulders, a throng of little creatures were assembled, dressed in fantastic costumes, laughing with glee.

This is one of several views Edward Burra was inspired to paint during a visit to Dartmoor in Devon with his sister Anne in September 1973. The holidays he took with her were very important to him; by the 1970s he was in poor health, and landscape had become his passion.

As a child I loved the Cicely Mary Barker illustrations and today put me in mind of the bluebell. We walked amongst a carpet of them at Emsworthy Farm. 1951 petal dress fits the bill beautifully as well

After our trip, we starting thinking 🤔

-We live in an area with dark skies (not an official dark sky place, but still good (Dartmoor))
- We have been sharing our knowledge and telescope with all sorts of people.

Maybe we could do something...
