"Andrew's Ear" oil on wood panel 12" x 16" finished in the studio yesterday. A study using glazing techniques for the first time. I enjoyed working on wood instead of canvas!

The wine goblet.

It took a long time and many layers… the shine on the goblet developed like a jigsaw puzzle with each new layer. I used the glazing technique a lot in this painting.

Paint applies smoothly. You can easily lift the paint as well. Absorbs paint nicely. Colors doesn't dull out after drying. Good for glazing as well. Overall, a really good paper. I'd choose this and Montval any day.
