Finished!
He was a nice OC to draw, a hagfish! Clothing still proves a challenge but I'm very glad with the final result. 😊

Who ordered the noodle soup?

Here are all of the eel dragons I have drawn (and one hagfish dragon who happened to sneak into this photo compilation.)

For theme "things that burrow," here's tapirostrum, the Cretaceous hagfish described last week. Here it's burrowing into the bloated belly of a mosasaur by tying itself in a knot. Colored pencil on illustration board.

Happy 2019, Everyone!
2018 was a pretty fun year all around. What I'm working on for next year:
-Upgrading my drawing skill
-Finish the script of "Ballistic Bastards: Operation Hagfish!" and begin drawing the damn thing
Also, a look back at my most popular drawings of 2018:

I made a hagfish/hellbender character. She looks like a swimming intestine and I love her.

Despite being jawless, hagfish still have some wicked looking teeth, which they use to rasp away at carcasses (and sometimes still living animals!) Check these chompers out!

mh...yeah, lovely bugger, ain't it? Heavily inspired by the 'majestic' Hagfish. If you don't know what that is, go ahead, google it and ruin your day with the knowledge that this thing exists :D
